Today, our India is facing a problem of lack of sanitation. Each and every day tons of waste material produced by factories and industries. It has become very difficult to manage such a massive amount of waste. Roads are always filthy and due to such a large amount of waste many people are suffering from various diseases, the quality of our environment is deteriorating day by day. So, in order to get rid of this waste Indian government started a mission that encourages people to participate in green energy practices. Indian government launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in 2014 in order to make India a clean and beautiful country in the world. The government has also taken various steps in order to make this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a successful event. But still, there are some steps that need to be taken by the Indian government.
In this article, we will focus on these steps. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.
1) Government initiative for tree planting for Clean and Green Environment:
Due to excessive waste, the quality of our environment is degrading day by day. So, in order to have good environment government should take initiative and should start a tree plantation camp. Trees play an important role in the environment. Without trees human life is impossible. Nowadays, the governments in some states have started a tree plantation campaign. Not only the trees should be planted but they have to nurtured properly. If we just plant trees and don’t take care of them while their growth period then, there is no meaning of planting them.
In the tree plantation campaign, the government should encourage people to plant trees by giving them different prices. Due to this, people from different areas will try to compete with each other and will plant more and more trees. In addition to this, the government should aware people about such campaigns with the help of social media platforms. Especially the Indian government should try to target on the participation of youth in these tree plantation campaigns. It is the duty of every Indian to participate in such campaigns. Along with planting trees, government should ban the unnecessary cutting of trees. They should implement a strict law on the cutting of trees. If the tree plantation is taken seriously and it is implemented perfectly then, the environment will be more clean and healthy.
2) Spreading awareness among the people about waste to water machines:
Only a small amount of people know that machines are there that convert waste into the water. As technology is improving day by day there are some nature lover engineers that have created a machine that converts waste into the water. As these machines are known to only a few amounts of people, they are not in use on a larger scale. And that is the reason the waste is not managed properly. If the promotion of these machines is done in a proper way then, there will not be any big issues. So, the government should inform people about such machines. Also, the government should inform people about advantages of using these waste to water machines, their features and all the details about these machines. As the government is not promoting these machines how can people know about them? So, first of all, the Indian government must focus on giving proper information about using waste to water machines along with their benefits.
3) Government must encourage the use of Waste to Compost machines:
Like waste to water machines, waste to compost machines will also play a crucial role in making the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a successful mission. As compost is mainly used in rural areas, the government should target farmers to use compost for agriculture. The compost fertile the soil as well as it accelerates the healthy growth of fruits and vegetables. The government should send their officials to the each and every Indian village to inform the people of rural areas of using waste to compost machines. If farmers buy such machines it will really help in the country’s progress.
4) Regenerate, Reuse and Recycle:
The most prominent way to get clean and healthy environment is to understand and apply the following formula: “Regenerate, reuse and recycle”. The government should step forward and must offer prices for those who are using the above formula in their daily life. Other countries are using the “Regenerate, reuse and recycle” formula and implementing it strictly.
5) It is time to say NO PLASTIC AT ALL:
Recently, the local government in the states like Maharashtra have banned the plastic completely. A research has revealed that plastic is destroying our environment than any other thing. If plastic not banned or it remains there in our daily life till 2050 then, the all the animals and plants that are living or growing near seas will completely disappear. So, the government should ban the plastic in India and must introduce other options for the plastic. If plastic is not consumed in very small amount or not banned then, the human life will be going to suffer in the future. As plastic is non-biodegradable it cannot be disposed of properly. So, it is really a time of not using a plastic material or plastic bags at all.
6) Perfect disposal of garbage as well as waste materials:
We always try to keep our house neat and clean but in the case of surrounding our lazy behaviour stops us from keeping it healthy as well as clean. As previously stated, along with the proper disposal of garbage, we should use the waster to water machines and waste to compost machines.
So, these are some of the steps that our government should take without any delay. Not only the Indian government but the above steps must be taken by each and every government present across the world. If we failed to implement the above ideas then we are definitely going to finish the environment around ourselves.
As an environment lover, don’t hesitate to share this article and promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
