He himself took the broom and clean the surrounding area on the launch day. In his speech, he encouraged people to participate in this Abhiyan. This Abhiyan is one of the most successful social campaigns in the history of our country.

The lack of the cleanliness is reducing the GDP of our country by 6.4%. One of the reasons why our country is still in the developing stage is the lack of sanitation. More than 2.5 lakh villages are declared as the open defecation free. Under this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, more than 2 lakh toilets have been built in the urban areas.

First of all, in this Abhiyan, both the public and the government authorities are working together. The youth of India is actively participating in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. As different Bollywood celebrities and TV stars promoting this Abhiyan. On Sundays, many of people arranging programs through which they are cleaning an entire city. Not only the college students but also the school kids are also becoming a part of it. In schools and colleges, many competitions are being arranged based on this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Almost every school in India has become part of this Abhiyan.
The corporate companies in India are also giving a lot of funds to the government of India. The hashtag #MyCleanIndia on the social media is encouraging people to promote and participate in this noble act. Make In India:
After Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the second major initiative started by our PM is the “Make In India”.
The main aim of make in India is to generate more entrepreneurs in India and to enhance the infrastructure in India. The Economic Confidence Level in India has reached up to a whopping 81%. This is the highest percentage that our country had ever witnessed. In our country, one of the big problems is unemployment. Recently it has been reported that for just 20,000 jobs in the Indian Railways more than 1 crore candidates have applied. So, this problem of the unemployment is solved in a quite good amount by this Make In India mission. The impact of this Make In India is that it has given a boost to the foreign investment and the number of the overseas corporation are becoming interested to invest in our country. Also, as this Make In India focuses on developing entrepreneurs, there has been a shift in the mindset of the people. Previously, those who thought about having a job are now creating the jobs by building their companies and own corporations. Make In India gives the perfect environment for the start-ups and innovations. As the start-up culture is growing in India all the types of the products are developing in our country. Major cities like Pune, Bangalore has now become the digital hub. The Make In India is not giving employment opportunities to the those residing in the cities but also to those who are living in the villages. The government is teaching many skills to the rural women for free. So, it is increasing the skilled labor in India in a good amount.
